今日の洋楽

今日はブルース・スプリングスティーンで愛しのシェリーです。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン作曲です。1980年のアルバム『ザ・リバー』収録曲です。翌1981年には、イギリス限定でシングルカットされました。

元は前作『闇に吼える街』のために録音されましたが、トレメローズばりのハッピーサウンド全開のこのナンバーは、アルバムの色にそぐわないとし、収録は見送られました。

ただし、歌の内容は必ずしも100%ハッピーとは限りません。
