今日はビリー・ジョエルでビッグ・ショットです。

ビリー・ジョエル作曲です。1979年のシングルでホット100で14位を記録しました。また、1978年のアルバム『ニューヨーク52番街』収録曲です。

エレキギターが激しくプレイされるロックなナンバーです。オフィシャルのMVでは、2番に入るとビリーがピアノを放り出し、ミック・ジャガーばりの動きを見せます。

歌詞に出てくる「Spoon up your nose」がなかなか分からなかったんですが、いろいろ調べてみたら、和訳にもある通り、「ヤク」に関する事でした。
