今日はボブ・ディランで「親指トムのブルースのように」です。

ボブ・ディラン作曲です。1965年のアルバム『追憶のハイウェイ61』収録曲です。

フアレスはメキシコの都市です。この歌は、主人公がフアレスで迷子になって、貧困、奇病、娼婦、権威の汚職、薬物に遭遇した、と言われています。

中々、脈絡のない歌詞ですね。笑

ゴードン・ライトフット、ニール・ヤング、ジュディ・コリンズがカバーしています。
