今日はブルース・スプリングスティーンでポイント・ブランクです。

ブルース・スプリングスティーン作曲です。1980年のアルバム『ザ・リヴァー』収録曲です。

Point blankは、直射、単刀直入という意味があります。この歌は、目に見えない不安、こうなるはずじゃなかった展開に対する嘆き、もう前の2人には戻れない絶望。そういった物から直で攻撃されるぞ、あっという間にやられるぞ、と警告している歌です。
