今日の洋楽

今日はデイヴ・ディー・グループでベンド・イットです。

ケン・ハワード、アラン・ブレイクリー作曲です。1966年に発表されたシングルのバージョン違いです。

このブログで、同アーティストによるバージョン違いの曲を紹介するのは初めての事です。

前回は、その歌詞の卑猥さ故に、アメリカでの発売においては新たに歌詞が作られる事となりました。

その結果、「もっと踊って見せてよ」という、ダンス色強めの歌になりました。原曲を知ってしまうと、何か物足りなさを感じさせます。
