今日はジョーン・バエズでウォーリアーズ・オブ・ザ・サンです。

ジョーン・バエズ作曲です。1989年のアルバム『スピーキング・オブ・ドリームズ』収録曲です。

少しレゲエのテイストがある曲です。世界平和を歌った歌です。

歌詞中のメンフィスは、おそらくテネシーの方ではなく、エジプトの方だと思われます。神話的な意味合いがエジプトの方が強い、という私の推測です。
