今日はボブ・ディランでモザンビークです。

ボブ・ディラン作曲です。1975年のアルバム『欲望』収録曲です。

モザンビークはアフリカ大陸南東部に位置する共和国で、海を隔ててマダガスカル島があります。

モザンビークでのバカンスを歌った歌ですが、この曲が出た1975年当時はようやくモザンビーク独立戦争が終わる頃で、その2年後には内戦が勃発する、非常に不安定な時期だったそうです。

平和なモザンビークをボブ・ディランは願っていたんでしょうか。
