カール・パーキンス作曲です。1958年のシングルで、カントリーチャートで17位を記録しました。

ペダル・プッシャーは、パンツの一種で、自転車に乗る時に、裾がペダルに絡まないように先が細くなるように設計されたものです。

また、この歌をヒントに、80’sロカビリーバンドのストレイ・キャッツの曲「ストレイ・キャット・ストラット」が生まれたと言われています。

ピンクのペダルプッシャーを履いている彼女は素敵なんだぜ、という歌です。
