早速、今日の洋楽和訳のコーナーです。

今日の洋楽

今日はビリー・ジョエルで「小雨降るパリ」という歌です。

ビリー・ジョエル作曲です。1973年のアルバム『ピアノ・マン』収録曲です。

邦題の「小雨降るパリ」はおそらく最初の歌詞の一節から取られたと思われます。

楽しい事には地獄が待っている、という歌です。最後の一節は分かりづらかったと思われますが、要するに「いずれみんな年老いて行くんだぜ」という事を念頭において頂ければ分かりやすいと思います。
