今日はザ・キンクスで「キザな奴」です。
レイ・デイヴィス作曲です。1966年のシングルで、イギリスのチャートで4位、オランダ・ニュージーランドのチャートで1位を記録しました。
邦題は「キザな奴」とありますが、歌詞を見ていくと、必ずしもそうとは限らないです。
この歌はレイ・デイヴィスとファッションデザイナーとの口論を歌った歌です。
モデルとかデザイナーでも何でも無いのに、無駄に流行を追い求める男を歌っています。ちなみに私は流行とはほぼほぼ無縁の生活を送っております。笑
