今日は、ジョーン・バエズでホエアズ・マイ・アップルパイです。

ジョーン・バエズ作曲です。1974年のシングルです。

サビの部分は、日本では「蛍の光」でお馴染みの曲、本国アイルランドでは「Auld Lang Syne(オールド・ラング・サイン)」という曲のメロディーが拝借されています。

戦争をテーマにした歌で、アップルパイを平和の象徴として捉えられています。
