今日はエルトン・ジョンでエンプティ・スカイです。

エルトン・ジョン、バーニー・トウピン作曲です。1969年のアルバム『エンプティ・スカイ』収録曲です。

一曲目に収録されていますが、このアルバムの中で一番の長尺となっています。

俺はこんな所でくすぶっているネズミじゃない、俺だっていつか空を飛べるはず、という歌です。
