今日はザ・ゾンビーズでお馴染みシーズ・ノット・ゼアです。

ロッド・アージェント作曲です。1964年のシングルで、イギリスのチャートで12位を記録しました。

ゾンビーズのデビューシングルです。歌詞は、ジョン・リー・フッカーの「ノー・ワン・トールド・ミー」からヒントを得たそうです。

作者でゾンビーズのメンバー、ロッド・アージェントは、「頭の中で、コリン(コリン・ブランストーン、ゾンビーズのボーカリスト)が歌うのを想像できた」とコメントしています。

デビューシングルとは思えないほどジャジーな感じです。悪い彼女に振り回されている男の歌です。
