今日の洋楽

今日はジョーン・バエズでスイート・サー・ガラハッドです。

ジョーン・バエズ作曲です。1970年のアルバム『ワン・デイ・アット・ア・タイム』収録曲です。

ガラハッドとは、分かる方は分かると思いますが、「アーサー王物語」に出て来る騎士の名前でもあります。ファンタジー好きならピンと来るものがあると思います。私も一時期ハマっていました。

ここでは、ジョーンの妹、ミミ・ファリナと、彼女の2番目の夫、ミラン・メルヴィンとの結婚を歌った歌です。

では和訳です。
